If you are studying Japanese then you need iKanji - the most comprehensive kanji study tool available on the Mac, designed with all the care and attention you expect from ThinkMac.
iKanji contains 2,388 kanji, that includes all the jōyō kanji taught in Japanese schools (including the 2010 additions) and those commonly covered by the JLPT at levels N1 to N5*. In addition there are 214 kanji radicals. 7,690 common example compounds are also provided in kanji and kana with their meanings in English.
iKanji's flash cards let you quickly browse and search for kanji, see stroke animations as well as readings, meanings and example compounds. You can build a practice set to manage your learning and add your own notes and comments to each kanji.
iKanji also has three built-in quizzes so you can test your ability to recall stroke orders, meanings and readings for kanji.

Requirements & Downloads
iKanji is a universal binary and requires Mac OS X 10.5 or later and an Intel or PowerPC Mac.
When used without a license iKanji will only run for 10 minutes at a time. Buy a license to remove this limitation.
* The JLPT kanji sets provided with iKanji contain kanji commonly tested at each level, however they should not be considered an accurate or complete listing of kanji for any upcoming JLPT exam.
