Hey Rory. That looks like a pretty comprehensive app for learning Japanese on the go. Congratulations!

Hey Rory. I just wanted to say congratulations on the beautiful work you've been doing with iKana and iKanji. Just going from the screenshots alone, these are some of the most beautifully designed apps I've seen in a long time.

Thanks!

Looks really nice. I know all my kana already, so I won't be a customer for iKana, but it certainly has me excited for iKanji on the iPhone (whenever that happens)

Please, please, PLEASE!! If you have extra time, could you port a version of iKanji to the iPhone/iTouch? You would make a kajillion euros. I'd buy it 10 times. It would be the best thing for the iPhone since its release. Can I donate for its rapid production? PLEASE! おねがいします!

Is there a testing mode that allows you to enter the Romanji (with the keyboard) for the displayed character? If not, could this be added? Another cool feature would be if it displayed a word in kana and the user had to romanize it. This way there's no chance of the user just making a lucky guess.

I may add a romanization test like the one in iKana on the Mac in a future update.

Awesome. A romanization test is the only thing I'm waiting for. A writing test would be cool too.

Already bought iKana some time ago, but didn't found the time to get into it. Now that it's available for my iPod Touch, there 'll be plenty more occasions to use it. Thanks for this handy little programm... like it a lot!
Take care... Christian
